Hotel policies
In order to enhance your experience, we recommend keeping in mind:
As of January 1, 2023, hotels must once again apply VAT to accommodation. This regulation had been paused for economic recovery due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism sector. Therefore, when making a reservation, please keep in mind that the rates are net, and do not include the tax. The tax charge (19% VAT) will be determined at the time of check-in. The receptionist will calculate the charge according to the law.
Please note that this tax is mandatory by law, and we must adhere to it. All Colombian citizens must pay it, and foreigners and/or non-residents must pay it in certain cases.
The GUEST will know the rates at the time of service. Check-in time is 15:00, and check-out time is 13:00. Partial use outside of these hours will result in the full nightly rate being charged. The guest agrees to comply with the hotel’s policies and instructions. In the event of loss, partial or total damage to the hotel’s property caused by the GUEST or their companions, the GUEST must pay the price set by the hotel.
Unregistered companions at the time of check-in will be considered additional guests. In these cases, the GUEST agrees to the rate designated by the hotel in a registration contract for the visit or companion.
All companions of the GUEST must be properly registered, and the GUEST must pay the rates established by the hotel during their stay ($100,000 COP). The number of people allowed in the room cannot exceed the number specified by the hotel according to the type of room. The GUEST is responsible for supervising minors at all times.
By signing this registration form, the GUEST authorizes the HOTEL to use the credit card as a guarantee for the payment of the accommodation invoice and expenses incurred during their stay. The GUEST will be responsible for the loss of valuables such as jewelry, money, or equipment that is not left in custody or in the hotel’s safe, which is available in the rooms for that purpose.
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT: The GUEST may terminate the accommodation contract upon expiration of the agreed period or any failure to comply with the GUEST’s obligations, as well as the breach of the hotel’s policies and guidelines. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or in public areas of the hotel. Violating this policy will incur a penalty charged to the GUEST’s account, equivalent to the cost of one night’s stay.
In accordance with Article 17 of Law 679 of 2001, the HOTEL warns the guest that the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a crime punishable by both criminal and administrative sanctions in Colombia. Therefore, any act or behavior that may involve or raise suspicion of activity related to child sexual exploitation and abuse (ESCNNA) will be reported to the competent authorities. If the minor is not traveling with their parents, they may not be registered under any circumstances without the proper authorization from the parents, notarized, whether the minor is Colombian or foreign. In the case of minors traveling with their parents, the physical identity documents (civil registry and/or ID card) must be presented.
GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS: The HOTEL reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone whose behavior may pose a potential risk to their own safety and well-being, that of other guests, or the hotel’s staff.
COOKIES POLICY
INTRODUCTION: Through this document, INVERSIONES GG OASIS S.A.S., hereinafter referred to as the “Company,” and in compliance with the regulatory provisions regarding the installation and use of cookies as stipulated in Colombia by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, as well as by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (GPD), establishes its Cookies Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) for its website www.eutopiq.com (hereinafter the “Site”).
1. DEFINITION OF COOKIES: According to the definition issued by the Spanish Data Protection Agency, which has been adopted by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce in Colombia, a cookie is understood as: “[…] a file that is downloaded to your computer when accessing certain web pages. Cookies allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about a user's or device's browsing habits, and depending on the information they contain and the way the device is used, they can be used to recognize the user."
In this sense, cookies are data files sent by the Company to the user’s computer, mobile phone, tablet, or internet-enabled smart device, which enable the collection of browsing-related information and help improve the user’s experience.
2. USE OF COOKIES: To better understand user needs and deliver enhanced service, the Company uses anonymous identifiers ("cookies") on the Site to collect anonymous information about user preferences and interests. The information collected in this way is used to create anonymous profiles for any purpose, including but not limited to the development, manufacturing, and marketing of the Company’s services and products.
The information obtained through this means is never combined with personal data that would allow the identification of a specific individual (such as name, address, or email address) or any information that may be considered sensitive or compromise the privacy of users.
3. NON-EXISTENCE OF A DATABASE: Based on the information obtained through cookies on the Site, it is not possible for the Company to identify a specific individual. Therefore, the Company does not consolidate or create a database with information collected via cookies.
In the event that the Company collects personal data from individuals through cookies, the data owner/user must provide prior, explicit, and informed consent for the Company to use their personal data, either through a privacy notice communicated prior to the collection of such data.
4. SECURITY OF PAYMENT INFORMATION: Payments made through the Site will be processed by our online payment agents, Payments Way Solutions and Credibanco. Our payment partners are PCI DSS certified to ensure the secure handling of credit card information. All transactions will be recorded under our business name, INVERSIONES GG OASIS.
5. DISABLING THE USE OF COOKIES: Users may disable the use of cookies on the Site at any time. However, if cookies are disabled, users may be unable to access, view, or navigate certain sections, images, or parts of the Company's Site. This could result in a less efficient browsing experience or prevent users from fully utilizing the services offered on the Site.
Regarding the restriction, blocking, or deletion of cookies stored on the Site, users may perform these actions at any time according to their browser's specifications. If users are unfamiliar with how to access the cookie settings, these options are generally found under "Preferences" or "Tools" in most web browsers.
6. COOKIES USED ON THE SITE: Below is information about the cookies used on the Site, which are employed to enhance browsing efficiency and allow users to fully utilize the services offered:
Session and persistent cookies (or first-party cookies)
Preference/selection cookies (in case of any preference selection)
Third-party cookies (e.g., if Google Analytics is installed – for statistics on site traffic and visit volume, etc.)
7. UPDATES AND CHANGES TO THE COOKIES POLICY: This Policy will take effect from the date of its publication and will override any previous institutional provisions that conflict with it. Any matters related to the subject of this Policy that are not explicitly addressed herein will be regulated by the Company as needed.
